Clear Aligners
This alone used to be the most popular brace that we did, just because it is almost completely invisible, and so thin, that once you start wearing it, you hardly notice that you have anything in!
This kind of brace is the most invisible brace available, and over the last few years, has been the most popular brace. In addition to being nearly invisible, it is very thin, and fits in easily into your lifestyle.
To make this treatment quicker, we often add small sections of fixed braces (usually at the back of the mouth), or use removable braces. These techniques are very advanced, and only provided by a handful of clinics in the UK. By using these techniques, you can have straight teeth even more quickly than clear aligners alone (like the Invisalign system)
Ceramic Fixed
This is fast becoming equally as popular as the Clear Aligner treatment, mainly because it is the quickest system.
These braces are very discreet, and one of the quickest ways to move teeth, to get your perfect smile.
In some cases, the treatment can be completed in just a few months, and this system can be used to treat complex cases. (We have treated many cases that could not be treated with invisalign)

Which brace system is the best?
The answer to this really depends on what you want. If you are looking for quicker treatment, then the fixed braces are better, if you are looking for near invisible treatment, then the clear aligners, or combination with sectional fixed braces may be better.
In most ideal treatments, we will need to use different braces, at different points in your treatment, this dramatically reduces the treatment time, by ensuring that you always have the best brace, for the kind of tooth movement we are trying to achieve.
